This tutorial handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just prior to Thotar will give you a taming Rod for just a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a number of three taming rods, every one differs and allows you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually check that an Armored Scorpid.

After you have finished the taming Portion of the Quest chain, you will have to head to hunter pet quest wow Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot within the Valley of Honor to be able to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
